VIRTUAL CONFERENCE | OCTOBER 18–19, 2025
The International Center for Professional Development (ICPD) invites you to the 4th Dr. Raffy Hovanessian International Medical Conference, dedicated to Colon Cancer.
Dr. Raffy Hovanessian has touched countless lives as a physician, philanthropist, and community leader. A graduate of the American University of Beirut (AUB) in internal medicine and gastroenterology, he completed advanced training at Johns Hopkins University. For more than four decades, Dr. Hovanessian led a private practice in Northwest Indiana while serving as president of Mercy Hospital’s medical staff, the Alpha Omega Honor Medical Society, and the Asian American Medical Society. Through his leadership at the Fund for Armenia Relief and as a Board Member of the Armenian American Health Professionals Organization (AAHPO), he became a driving force in advancing continuing medical education for physicians in Armenia.

Through evidence-based lectures, case-based discussions, and practical insights, the conference aims to strengthen professional capacity, foster collaboration, and improve patient outcomes.
By the end of the conference, participants will gain a comprehensive update on best practices and innovations in colon cancer care, empowering them to apply new knowledge in clinical practice, enhance multidisciplinary collaboration, and advance the fight against colorectal cancer in Armenia and worldwide.
